STILLE NACHT - 2007
Silent Night is one of our favorite Christmas Carols.

I was on You0Tube and heard a version of Stille Nacht in its original German by the German Boys Choir.

Once I heard it, I knew it had to be in our 2007 display.

A late edition, I also thought it would be best only using the blue lights of the Tree and the tree topper. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

MARY DID YOU KNOW?
Mary Did You Know? - Clay Aiken

The family asked for this song. We listened to dozens of versions and settled on the one by Clay Aiken.

When it was first proposed, it was visioned using only Blue and White lights.

Enjoy

REFLECTIONS OF EARTH-ACCELERATION AND CHAOS
Reflections of Earth-Acceleration and Chaos

This song is popular among those that synchronize lights to music. It has little to do with Christmas, but since it is a Disney song, that makes it OK. I liked it and so it was added in our 2007 display very early in the programming stage.

EMMANUEL-2007
EMMANUEL - by Michael W. Smith (originally programmed by Daniel)

We did this song last year and I liked it so much, that we upgraded it for our 2007 display.

LINUS AND LUCY - by the Vince Guaraldi Trio

Piano and Bass Jazz at its best. A crowd favorite.

THE COLORING SONG
THE COLORING SONG - by PETRA

Sure, it is not a traditional Christmas song, but the message of the song reflects what Christmas is all about.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION - B. B. KING

Seeing as how B. B. King is from Mississippi, the birthplace of the blues, it was only fitting to have a song by him in our rotation this year.

I am a big blues music fan who was happy to find a song that fit my needs for blues and a way to show off.

HERE'S YOUR SIGN - CHRISTMAS EDITION
HERE'S YOUR SIGN - CHRISTMAS EDITION - by Bill Engvall

I do not think there is a funnier southern humorist than Bill Engvall. It was late in the season when I found this song and wanting to add some humor to our lineup, this was the song that was picked to fill the Bill.

BABY ITS COLD OUTSIDE & JINGLE BELLS
BABY IT'S COLD OUTSIDE - HOMER & JETHRO with JUNE CARTER CASH

I heard this song last year on satellite radio and was crying my head off laughing so hard.

After a long search, I found it on Walmart.com of all places. After downloading it (legally, of course), I was "forced" to add it to our rotation this year.

This song may have been lost on some of the people around here, but as a fan of "real" country music and bluegrass, our display was brightened by the addition of Homer and Jethro.

Christmas Canon-TSO
I think Christmas Canon is one of the best songs out there by Trans Siberian Orchestra. We did it last year and revamped the sequence for this year.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

OUR GREETINGS BY THE DEMENTED ELF
CHRISTMAS GREETINGS - THE DEMENTED ELF

KEVIN (aka The Demented Elf) on PlanetChristmas.com is a professional recording artist/DJ type that did this recording for us for a nominal fee.

I use it to check which strands are working (as all strands are on) and as a reminder to be courteous to our neighbors.

Thanks Kevin!
