Why do you have a tune to radio sign?
We broadcast our music on FM 96.7. The FCC will allow you to broadcast about 200 ft without a license. We could use speakers, but our neighbors should not be forced to listen to our music.
How much is your electrical bill?
In 2007, our bill averaged $1.00 per day for everyday we had our display operating
How long did it take to build Randolph the Reindeer?
He took approximately 100 hours to build. He is built of Coroplast, contains approximately 700 lights and was painted with paint pens.
How long does it take to program a song?
Programming a song takes about 40 hours for each song. We had 9 songs in 2008. We use the Light-O-Rama program for our sequences.
How long is your show?
Our show lasts about 30 minutes. It runs in a loop so that you do not have to wait for it to begin again.
How long does it take to put up the lights?
Our 2008 display took approximately 10 days to install and assemble.
