Greetings fellow PC'ers and decoration enthusiasts
Our 2007 Display had many more computerized
channels than last year. We doubled our computerized display over
what was shown in 2006. We went from 80 channels to 204 computerized
controlled channels.
We had 12 synchronized songs, broadcast on FM 96.7.
Stay tuned for lights on details and more information.
We lit up on December 8th. Between having to go out of state for
work, technical difficulties, and weather, we were delayed in our
lighting up. For those of you that have driven by and saw darkness, I
hope that you came back and enjoyed our lights.
Our 2008 show will be bigger
and better than last year's display and I really think you will enjoy
it.
Located on Pickford Point, in Hunter's Point Subdivision in Madison, we hope to see you soon.
News for 2007
April 2007
I just finished the taxes and now I am ready to start sequencing. I have a tenative list of songs, but that may change. I would like to only do no more than 8 songs this year.
May, 2007
Mini-Plus was held in Shreveport LA. It was great information.
My neighbor approached me about doing some stuff in their yard. They will not have much, maybe just a few minitrees and a set of leaping lights or so.
July 25, 2007
We have been sequencing since April and got through in July (13 songs for over 40 minutes of music).
Deciding that 40 minutes was too much, I have set aside some of the sequenced songs for use in 2008.
Our 2007 selections will include: Mary Did You Know by Clay Aiken; Linus and Lucy; Emmanuel by Michael W. Smith; Baby It's Cold Outside (by Homer and Jethro with June Carter Cash) and many more.

We just got back from PLUS2007 in Gatlinburg - and it was great! As a result, we will add "House on Christmas Street" by Judy Pancost.
While at PLUS, I saw an arch kit that was made by Dave Horting with www.Westhavenlights.com. It sold for over $200 at the silent auction. Liking it, I purchased one from him for use in our display.
We were able to get a cool "Jesus is the Reason for the Season" wireframe from Christmas Done Bright at PLUS. I strapped it to the top of the van and drove across the smokies into Cherokee NC and then to Madison with it.
We also found a new Rope Light 2-color Bethlehem star from Action Lighting that will be used to top the mega tree.
Lastly, I got a great deal on 24 sets of Gold LED lights that will go nicely with one of our songs.
I really have to go in and reprogram my sequences now!

I am upgrading my "Tune to Sign".
I went to Acryllic Plastics earlier this week and purchased a 24" x 36" sheet. I used an Avery large sign program (available from Avery.com) to create the script and font.
After printing it out, I traced the letters on the reverse side and cut them out as best I could with my shaky hand using an Exacto knife.
I painted the background black over the taped letters. I will paint them as soon as the first black coat dries and build a frame to house it. August 13, 2007 (again)
There is a decorating enthusiast that has offered me the use of
an additional 48 channels LOR controllers. It will mean that I will
upgrade my sequences, but that is a tolerable change to the program. I will meet with him in September! December 8, 2007
We finally got our lights up and running. We travelled a great deal around Thanksgiving and I was out of town the week following Thanksgiving, so our display was running late. WHEW!
I hope you enjoy it.

Technical difficulties! A couple of our LOR units have quit working. So, we are going to be down for a couple of days until the units are replaced. Thank you for your patience.
December 18, 2007
We are almost through with our repairs. But, I have a bandaid on it to get it going.
December 20, 2007
Finally through with the repairs.
Enjoy

Tonight, our lights go off. For those of you that visited or emailed, thank you very much for your kind words. I could not have asked for a better group of people that came by to watch the lights. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did.

Tearing it down, putting it up and planning for next year's display!
This site was created by the owner to tell others about our Lord Jesus.
The other day, the management was goofing around on the net and found a fascinating site about Heaven and Hell. The name is SpiritLessons.com. It is the kind of place that you could spend weeks on to evaluate the information and testimonies of those linked on the site.
Thank you for visiting our site. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas season and wish you the very best Holidays.
